  6. After a 3 hour recess, the court came back Escom worked out their
  7. problem with the Creditors by raising their bid 6.5 million dollars, to
  8. 12 million dollars Escom now owns the rights to the Amiga technology
  9. Escom doesn't own the phillipine stock, but they can talk to the owner
  10. of that to buy it from him

  12. no, the whole thing is OVER...IBM's objection was dropped, and all
  13. others were worked out

  15. Escom does not own C= UK, but it 2 weeks they will be talking to C= UK
  16. to buy them

  18. CEI and Dell's objections were that they wanted their bid accepted, but
  19. becuase Escom raised there bid, the court got rid of the CEI objection
  20.  
  21. to Zool:  Anything about Escoms plans for the Amiga.  Will they just
  22. manufacture the models available at the moment, or will they continue to
  23. develope new interesting models?

  25. from Zool:  The man from Escom told me that Escom is very interested
  26. in continuing the Amiga line HE said that everything is wide open with
  27. the Amiga He plans to look into making the Amiga Power PC, as well as
  28. talking with developers and user groups

  30. Escom does sound like they want to continue the Amiga

  32. Escom wants to go into the US, but can't do it with PCs alone, because
  33. any American place can sell PCs cheaper So Escom wants a new technology
  34. that they can sell, to make it like the "revolutionary" new producy
  35.
